Reproducible research depends on knowing exactly what is in the vial. Our shops share the same catalogue and the same library of certificates.

Documentation on every product

Each product lists the CAS number where one is assigned, the molecular data where available (formula, molecular weight and, where relevant, the sequence) and a written specification. You know what you are ordering before it ships.

Laboratory analysis

Each certificate names the laboratory that analysed the batch and the method it used. Purity is stated on the Certificate of Analysis.

Published certificates

Certificates of Analysis are published for the batches we hold certificates for: 43 certificates in the SPEPS Group certificate library. Where a certificate exists for a batch, you can look it up by lot number in the register below.

These laboratories are named on the certificates in the SPEPS Group certificate library, with the method as printed on the certificate. Some certificates, such as the sample on this page, also report bioburden, endotoxin and heavy metal screening.

Certificate of Analysis

What a certificate shows

  • The compound and the vial size the certificate was issued for
  • The lot number, which is printed on the label of the vial you receive
  • The date of analysis and the laboratory that performed it
  • The measured results, as reported by the laboratory

  • Lyophilised vials are stored at −20 °C, away from light.
  • Orders ship from our warehouses in Germany, Switzerland and Spain.
  • Parcels are neutral, with no description of the contents on the outside, and the vials are protected from shocks and heat.
